Honoring Our Roots, Embracing Our Future
Soul Miner's Eden was founded on the belief that working the land, cultivating beauty, and connecting with nature nourishes the soul.
Our Story
From the very beginning, we set out to add value—not just to the land, but to the lives of those around us.
We started by growing hydroponic and all-natural lettuce, supplying fresh greens to local restaurants and markets. Our mission was simple: provide high-quality, nutrient-rich produce while embracing sustainable farming practices.
But in 2020, when the devastation of food supply chains hit during COVID, we witnessed firsthand how deeply it impacted our local farming friends and our community.
In response, we launched the Farm Box Program, offering fresh, locally sourced produce directly to the community at the height of the pandemic. It was a time of resilience, creativity, and deep connection—reminding us that food is more than just sustenance.
Food is the anchor of any culture. It puts the "culture" in agriculture.
Unfortunately, as the post-pandemic economy shifted, supply chain disruptions and economic downturns forced us to shut down our greenhouse and lettuce operations. While this chapter of our journey ended, our commitment to growing, sharing, and nourishing remains.
Today, we focus on land stewardship, garden and landscape supply, and natural growing solutions.
Our mulch, compost, soil, and specialty products help gardeners and landscapers cultivate their own thriving spaces. At Soul Miner's Eden, whether you're enhancing your landscape or tending a garden, we're here to help you grow something beautiful—naturally.
The Story Behind The Name
The name Soul Miner's Eden was inspired in the earliest days of the farm's transformation. Right after purchasing the land, I spent hours on a tractor and chainsaw, clearing invasive species like Chinese privet and Bradford pears, reclaiming overgrown fields, and restoring pond dams that had been neglected for over 20 years.
As I toiled, I listened to John Mark Comer's book Garden City: Work, Rest, and the Art of Being Human—a book that profoundly shaped how I saw this land and our work.
"We're called to a very specific kind of work—to make a Garden-like world where image bearers can flourish and thrive."
— John Mark Comer, Garden City
This resonates deeply. This farm was more than just land—it was a calling to cultivate, restore, and steward creation in a way that reflected God's original design.
"Our job is to make the invisible God visible—to mirror and mimic what He is like to the world."
— John Mark Comer
That is the heart behind Soul Miner's Eden. Our work—whether it's improving soil, supplying farmers and gardeners, or stewarding land—exists to bring order to creation, honor the land, and help others cultivate their own piece of Eden.
This farm is not just about products—it's about purpose.
